Reserve your ride.
It’s important to us that the park is accessible for everyone to enjoy! Reserve a track chair to explore a few of the trails and beach, or a wheelchair bike for a ride on the Heritage Trail.
All reservations are FREE!
Reservations must be made at least 3 days before your preferred date.

Our Bikes and Chairs

Baby Bear Track Chair
Baby Bear is our smaller track chair that is available to be used on the Bay View Trail. It has a maximum weight of 300 pounds, including equipment and the seat measures 18 inches wide between the arm rests.

Platte Bear Track Chair
Platte Bear is our larger track chair that is available on the Railroad Trail that starts at the Platte River Campground and ends at a beautiful sandy Lake Michigan beach. It has a maximum weight limit of 300 pounds, including equipment, and measures 22 inches between the armrests.

Mama Bear Track Chair
Mama Bear is our larger track chair that is used on the Bay View Trail. It has a maximum weight of 350 pounds, including equipment, and the seat measures 24 inches wide between the arm rests.

Wheelchair Bike
Our newest addition, the wheelchair bike is here for the 2025 season! Ride from the Dune Climb to Glen Arbor and enjoy the stop at Glen Haven. It has a maximum wheelchair rider weight limit of 250 pounds, including equipment, and measures 20 inches between the armrests.
