More about DH Day Campground Beach
The DH Day Log Cabin is located next to the trail to the beach. It is sometimes used for ranger-led programs in the summer. DH Day was the first State Park Commissioner in Michigan, and he donated the land for this campground and built the log cabin.
This beach is primarily for people staying at the campground but there is limited parking on the campground road. The few parking spots are along the section of campground-drive that is also part of the Heritage Trail, so please be extra cautious and look out for cyclists and children.
