Flower Floating, cup-shaped yellow flowers 3-5″ wide made of 4 large yellow petals. The flowers stand up to several inches above the water surface.
Leaf Round or heart-shaped, deeply notched, toothless, floating shiny green leaves 3-8″ wide.
Notes Stems and leaves have air channels that trap air to keep the plant afloat. Flowers usually open only on sunny afternoons.
