Flower Flowers are white with 7 sharply pointed petals 1/2″ wide on thin delicate stalks rising above the leaves. Often 2 flowers per plant.
Leaf Leaves are shiny, long tapered, and forma single whorl below the flower 2-4″ long. Margins are mostly smooth.
Notes The Star Flower is a small delicate plant that grows in moist areas with mosses and usually in clumps or clusters. It’s seven-petal flower is unusual in the plant world.
