||Showy flowers have 15-30 white petals (ray flowers) with notched tips and a yellow disk (disk flowers) in the center. Each flower is up to 2″ wide.
||Leaves are smooth, thick, dark green, irregularly toothed, clasping basal up to 6″ long. The base of the leaf often clasps the stem.
||Stems are upright and smooth. The Ox-eye daisy is commonly found in extensive colonies. It is an import from Europe.
