Flower Flowers produce open clusters of white flowers each with 5 deeply notched petals attached to a highly inflated, smooth, bell-shaped sac which is about 1/2″ long and has a papery texture. Thread-like styles project beyond the petals.
Leaf Leaves are narrow and come in pairs, 1-3″ long. Leaves are stalkless and smooth.
Notes Stems are smooth but may be hairy and tend to recline on the ground with age instead of remaining erect.
