Leaves are alternate, pinnately compound with 5-7 leaflets on a short, smooth stalk. Leaflets are oblong with toothed margins. |
Notes |
Upper stems are smooth and thornless. Lower stems may have a few slender thorns. This is a low shrub. The fruit (rose hip) is dry, red, smooth oval and not poisonous. |
