We’ve scheduled dates for our first cleanups of the year!

Join us either at Crystal River on June 15th or Lower Platte River on June 21st. 

The First will be on Crystal River on June 15th at 9:30 AM. We will Meet at Crystal River Outfitters, 6249 River Rd, just north of downtown Glen Arbor. 
We’ll start with a very brief welcome/orientation followed by the cleanup at the kayak launch site and then the river. We’ll have “grabbers” and volunteer vests for your use and kayaks will be provided. Please bring a mask, which is required for transportation to the kayak launch site. Also, it is recommended that you have coverings for your feet, as you never know whats under the water should you tip over. A light lunch will be provided following the cleanup.

We are planning our next clean-up for Lower Platte River Clean-up on June 21 at 9:30. The clean-up will start at the kayak launch at the corner of Lake Michigan Road and M-22. If you do not have a Kayak or Canoe, The Riverside will provide watercraft and drop-off assistance. We will also provide the volunteers with a lite lunch after the event.

Where: Meet at kayak launch at the corner of Lake Michigan Road and M-22
