Ask the volunteer working at the Cannery.

Points of Interest: The village of Glen Haven has a lot of interesting things to explore. The big red Cannery building used to be located right next to the Glen Haven dock. They canned fruit here and shipped the canned goods to market. The Cannery is now a museum of lake Michigan boats. The Great Lakes fishing tug, Aloha sits near the Cannery and has a nice boardwalk viewing platform. The General Store in the village is open in the summer and there is a working blacksmith shop in the village.
