Location: Drive M-22 to Trails End road, which is a few miles north of the Platte River. Drive the gravel road to the parking lot at the end. The Trails End parking lot is between Bass Lake and Loon Lake.

Parking Lot: Small gravel parking lot

Restrooms: An accessible vault toilet is located near the parking lot.

Water: No drinking water is available .

Boat Ramp: There is a small accessible fishing dock on Bass Lake and a small boat launch for canoes or kayaks.

Beach Access: An improved trail made of packed crushed stone leads from the parking lot to the fishing dock and boat ramp and along the west side of Bass Lake. There is no beach on Bass Lake.

Points of Interest: The trail leads from the parking lot for a short distance along the west edge of the lake.
