| Flower | Flowers range from white to dark purple but are usually pink. They resemble the cultivated sweet pea. It has 4-10 showy blossoms in a cluster near the tip of the smooth flower stalk which may be up to 7″ long. |
| Leaf | Leaves consist of 2 oval leaflets, 1-3″ long. The leaf stalk may have one or more tendrils from the tip. |
| Notes | Stems are climbing or prostrate. Seeds are poisonous. |
